Ahsan started out working at a local café before joining us with the goal of learning traditional craft techniques. From the beginning, he was curious about every step of the process, especially working with wood and raw materials. Over time, he developed strong skills in woodworking and finishing, and has recently expanded into small ceramic pieces and functional objects. Today, he plays a key role in the workshop, helping shape both the process and quality standards we follow.

MASTER ARTISAN

Arshad was the first artisan to take a chance on our vision and join us from the beginning. Over the past three years, he has been central to developing our wood and mixed-material pieces. As a second-generation craftsman from Karachi, his work blends traditional woodworking with metal and ceramic elements. He approaches each piece with a creative mindset, constantly finding new ways to reinterpret classic forms through a more modern lens.

MASTER METALWORKER

Babar is one of the most skilled metalworkers in the industry, with experience across copper, brass, and silver. As a second-generation artisan with over 25 years of experience, he has earned the title of “Ustaad,” meaning master. His work ranges from structural metal components to more detailed decorative pieces, including handcrafted jewelry such as bracelets and necklaces. He brings a deep understanding of material and technique, along with a strong eye for detail developed over years of practice.

APPRENTICE ARTISAN

Kirin joined us as an apprentice under Babar with little prior experience. She quickly showed a strong ability to learn and adapt, especially in working with metal detailing and small-scale jewelry pieces. She has been developing skills in crafting bracelets and necklaces, while also assisting in ceramic finishing and decorative work. Over time, she has grown into her role through hands-on practice and a clear attention to detail.

APPRENTICE CRAFTSWOMAN

Madiha is the newest addition to the team, joining after graduating from a vocational school. What stands out about her is her “can do” attitude, which brings fresh energy into the workshop. She has been building her skills across multiple areas, from basic woodworking to assisting in ceramic shaping and finishing. She is already taking on more complex work, especially in assembling mixed-material pieces.

Rafia may be quiet, but her work speaks for itself. When she first joined, she had never worked with tools before. Now, she contributes across different areas of the workshop, including ceramic detailing, small wooden objects, and jewelry finishing. She approaches every piece with focus and precision, and has quickly become an important part of the production process.
